Advanced HIV Disease Dashboard

The Advanced HIV Disease (AHD) Dashboard tracks national policy and guideline adoption of key clinical recommendations for preventing, diagnosing, and treating advanced HIV disease and related opportunistic infections across countries in sub-Saharan Africa. 

This includes Cryptococcal Meningitis (CM), the second leading cause of death among PLWHA  living with HIV/AIDS. Modeling studies suggest that CM continues to  account for 19% of AIDS-related deaths since 2014. Yet, it remains underrecognized, underdiagnosed, and undertreated.
